Metal-bond diamond tools

This metal-bond diamond tools are constantly being developed to meet our customers’ requirements for efficient grinding tools. We has developed a very broad range of metal-bond diamond tools to achieve maximum capacity at minimum cost and to suit most types of floor. Floors can be divided into different categories, such as soft floors, medium-hard floors and hard floors.

Soft floors:
Floors of loose or porous material. A high rate of removal is achieved with these floors, but with higher tool wear.

Medium-hard floors:
Normal building concrete. This includes marble and terrazzo floors.

Hard floors:
Usually refers to steel trowelled floors or certain types of cement. This includes granite. The floors usually require “soft” segments.


T-Rex™

T-Rex™ is intended for removal of coatings, not for conventional grinding! The tools have an extremely high removal capacity and can remove even the thickest coatings such as paint, lacquer, epoxy, acrylic, and residues of adhesive and screed.

Resin-bond diamond tools for floor polishing


Resin-bond diamond tools are many times used after the use of metal-bond diamond tools for floor polishing. However, in some cases a resin-bond diamond tool can be used as a starting tool on smooth flat floors.

Soft floors:

EZ SR Series
The new SR series simplifies grinding and provides an increased efficiency. A new design and updated formula in one single, uniform tool series.

The new full SR series replaces HTC’s previous SR and MR tools. Fenix II

The Fenix II series is updated with a new formula and design giving the tools an increased performance.

Applications where Fenix II is suitable are grinding of screed products, concrete, natural stone and it can also be used in the HTC Superfloor™ process. The pads are easy to attach on Velcro holders under the HTC’s machines. The tool series is available in sizes 5”, 7”, 9” and 11” and use a clear color coding which simplifies the grinding process.
